**** The final result of B.Ed. 4th Sem for the session 2022-24 was declared on 10th July 2024: Out of 49 candidates of the college, 36 secured First Class *** The result of B.Ed. 2nd Sem (exam held hen June 2024) was declared by the Dibrugarh University on 3rd September 2024. **** The Admission Procedure for admission into B.Ed. First Sem (2024-26 batch) was completed successfully. **** The classes of B.Ed. First Sem (Session 2024-26) are being held regularly from 12th August 2024, trainees are requested to attend the classes regularly , 85% attendance is mandatory **** The new session for B.Ed. 3rd Sem was started from 5th August 2024 ****
Infrastructure Details


College of Teacher Education, Golaghat, located near the office of Superintendent of Police, Jonaki Nagar has a total land area of 5 Hectors, out of which 9,018.7324 Sq.mtr is used for construction of college building. We have three (3) classrooms, 2 (two) hostels, one science laboratory and one Phychological lab. We have arranged ten (10) schools for practice teaching activity. At present, the seat capacity of the college is 50. Other details of the college are as mentioned below.

Library


The college Library has a collection of more than 6500 books including text books, reference, journals, periodicals, encyclopaedia, etc. mostly related to education. Out of them 5 are journals and 8 are encyclopaedia.
A student can borrow two at a time for a period of 15 days. A borrower will be responsible for the loss or damage of any book and will have to pay the cost.

Laboratory


Teaching of General Science is an optional method paper of B.Ed. course under Dibrugarh University. According to the curriculum of B.Ed. programme of the University teaching of General Science is included in the Pedagogical Content knowledge-II in the 2nd Semester and 3rd Semester. A teacher- student having this method paper have to perform some content-based activities which are included in the General Science text books of Secondary level. For that purpose, they have to use Science Laboratory.
C.T.E. Golaghat also have a well-equipped Science Laboratory to fulfil the needs of teacher- students. Physical, Chemical and Biological practical activities of secondary school level can be done here. Different types of physics apparatus such as Slide Callipers, Screw gauze, Simple pendulum, Bar magnet, Magnetic needle, Stop Watch, Spring balance, Physical balance, Gas jar, Hydrometer, Tuning fork, Rheostate, Om’s law apparatus, wooden board, plane mirror, glass slab, prism etc are available in the laboratory.
Similarly chemistry practical apparatus in the laboratory are Beaker of different sizes, conical flask, Funnel, Spirit lamp, gas jar, Measuring cylinder, Tripod stand, Wire gauze, Porcelain basin, Test tube, Glass rod, watch glass, Burette, Pipette Filtering stand, Thistle funnel, Woulfs bottle, different types of reagents and salts etc.
Some other apparatus required for biological practical are also available in the laboratory. They are Compound microscope, Slide, permanent slide, cover slip, different types of specimen etc.
Teacher-students of the college having teaching of General Science as a method uses the laboratory regularly in the specified period of their daily routine Damaged or broken apparatus are replaced regularly by the college authority for the smooth functioning of the laboratory.

Hostel
We have 2 separate hostels for male and female trainee:
24 seats in Boys’ Hostel.
24 seats in Girls’ Hostel.

Playground


An adjacent Public Playground is Shared.

Bio-metric devices
We have 3 bio-metric devices for recording the attendance of both staff as well as students.

ICT cum Resource Room


We have 1 ICT cum resource room which is equipped of several number of Computer System with huge number of Teaching Aid materials. 

Multi-purpose Hall

We have a multi-purpose hall of size 60x30 sq. feet , its seat capacity is around 300.
